 July 30th, 2008 Abdi Issak, President of GRC (Global Relief Center) donates school supplies to needy immigrant children so they will have the necessary items to attend their schools in Dekalb and Gwinnett counties. This would not have been possible without the generous donation by businessmen and practitioners in the communities that wish remain anonymous.

Global Relief Center (GRC) has been in operation since 2002. We provide tutoring and after schools classes to assist immigrant students at all levels of education to succeed in their studies, parents seeking to update job skills for employment or re-employment and financial/food assistance for families that are struggling to pay their rent or feed their family without regard to race, religion, gender or parental status. GRC programs are privately funded with no assistance from local government other than the generous guidance and help Dekalb county officials have donated pro-bono.
